On the dubbing issue the Kannada Film Producers Association is keeping silent in the wake of CCI making inquiries but not the other bigwigs.

According the present information the delegation from Kannada cinema industry is camping from 10th of December to 14th of December during the winter session of Parliament. In this time the team from Kannada cinema industry lead by Shivarajakumar is expected to meet Sushma Swaraj to look in to the problem. Already 11 MP’s of Karnataka have signed a letter supporting the delegation purpose on the dubbing issue.

The five days of stay in New Delhi by Kannada film industry delegation would give a definite shape to the dubbing issue raised by CCI it is believed.

Meanwhile three prominent lawyers are working out on the modalities of representing their stand. One of the three lawyers is a Coorgi in New Delhi. That is Mr Brijesh Kalappa who is also looking at the ‘Cauvery Water’ issue has briefed the Kannada film personalities on the fear existing in the mind.

CCI is not like HC or SC. It is a commission appointed by the Union Government. The issue of contempt of court does not arise in this case was brought to the notice. Secondly it is just an asking of explanation on an informer Ganesh Chetan. Thirdly the regional interests cannot be overlooked in this case.

A relief has come to the mind of bigwigs to some extent. In another development the next best Kannadiga after Dr Rajakumar – Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli, P Seshadri and others are also presenting the case to permanently put an end to further discussion on dubbing.
